The Ungcheon Island Site Exhibition Hall was built on Gyeongsangnam-do Monument No.
160, Ungcheon Island Site (熊川陶窯地), and opened on November 23, 2011.Ungcheon Island is the site of a kiln where Buncheong ware and white porcelain were produced in the early Joseon Dynasty.
Bowls, which account for the largest number of artifacts excavated here, have especially attracted attention for their simple yet natural beauty.
Additionally, the excavated kiln is being used as valuable data for research on the kiln structure of the early Joseon Dynasty.
